+1 (binding) I checked the cluster mode example for the Spark runner (READM - https://github.com/apache/incubator-beam/tree/master/runners/spark) using the published jar and it looks like there is an issue with running on cluster (if the input is on HDFS and not local FS). Since the goal of this release is to properly release actually, I don't see this preventing anything, so I will just open a ticket. Local example from build works fine.
