Oops, sorry, I meant to include the build command. I'm running it as non-root.
Here's the command I'm running: mvn -X clean install -Pspark-1.3
-Dspark.version=1.3.0 -Phadoop-2.4 -Dhadoop.version=2.4.0 -DskipTests
