   I guess you need to specify `hadoop.version` and `hbase.version` [on 
building 
ambari-metrics](https://github.com/apache/bigtop/blob/c61cb82b86b76478f8f0d8f1b391feffc5aa2a47/bigtop-packages/src/common/ambari/do-component-build#L37)
 too. Anyway I think using Apache release of HBase should be quick fix.
