Hi everyone,
For quite a while now it has been clear that development activity on
the Apache Bloodhound project has stalled, and the current Bloodhound
Project Management Committee has determined that there are not enough
members with the time to dedicate to the project. This is putting the
project on the path to a move to the Apache Attic.
This move to the Attic is not a foregone conclusion but avoiding it
will require more volunteers to get involved with the project. I am
not aware of anyone who has been involved in the project who wants the
project to stop and so we would be very welcoming of more volunteers!
Please let us know if you are interested in getting involved with this
project as soon as possible.

Many thanks,

I just thought I should thank everyone for their input so far. I see
that there are a good number of people indicating their interest in
being involved. I suspect that will be useful to give us a bit more time
to explore whether that will provide us with enough expertise in the
project or to determine how to get potential contributors to that point.
I'll see if I can contribute to any of the discussions that have
resulted from this as soon as I can but let's keep the momentum up on
all this. If there are more people interested in getting involved, do
let us know.
I'll be reporting to the ASF board shortly about the progress we are
making so it will be good to have the problem of having even more
activity to summarise!
Cheers,
Gary
