Will you be adding auto-updates to the BuildStream/BuildBox packages -
does Debian support that? My Nixpkgs derivations for the aforementioned
support automatically-created MRs for updating the packages, and I just
approve it. Then I backport it to a stable release, and its very simple
:-)
I understand the closest thing Debian has to auto-updates is tag2upload
[1], but I suspect I need some more packaging experience to get such
"unconditional uploads" right, and, in any case, need to become a Debian
Maintainer before I can upload without a sponsor. Running Debian's very
thorough Salsa CI pipeline [2] on proposed changes before I upload them
gives far more confidence that everything is in order.
