Yeah IMHO that could be a good idea. Also in light that there is 80+
JIRA tickets assigned to 2.9.0.
So we may be able to cut a RC sooner, and then have some JIRA tickets
which we want to include in the GA release.
And then after the RC we can work on those tickets.
