I guess is a good idea to give the possibility to Karaf users to test the
snapshot. --

I wonder if we should give the Karaf users a chance to try the
SNAPSHOT changes on their karaf servers.
And maybe do the release next week or later in the week that is coming?

Any thoughts?

I cannot help as much as I have not personally done any Camel release.
But that isn't an excuse as I would like the release guide to 100%
accurate so its easier for others to take on the task. I think we need
more people doing releases so we can get more release out. Would be
great to do time box releases of the patch branches. So we do them
every 2nd month or so.

Maybe Christian Mueller, Willem Jiang, Dan Kulp, Hadrian or others who
have done many Camel releases can help?

But you hit a point. The docs should help explain how to do a minor vs
patch release if they are different.
