Don't forget that the commercial Linux distributions support what they
ship.

So for example if you purchase Red Hat Enterprise Linux they current
will provide support for Java 8 until October 2020(*).

I assume Ubuntu does something similar.

The only ones likely to be hurt by Oracle's actions are anyone who is
running anything Java based on either Windows or MacOS.
