Hello all, as you may know we participated at Google summer of code during the last 2 years. In the first year we got one slot for the implementation of our DDL generator. Even if one student fail in the second year, we had 2 more slots that had been very successful. One of them improved our code generator which now is able to use velocity, while the second worked at JAXB compatibility.
While the students of the first 2 projects contributed only a little after GSoC, is the third still an active committer for Castor. For me this is a great success for Castor and GSoC. This year codehaus has again applied as mentoring organization to GSoC and we are confident this application gets accepted. To get recognized by students we are preparing project ideas at the moment.
