Kudos to the team on the M5 release.
Also of note is the ease of transition from 2.x to 3.0. I just
updated an app to use 3.0M5; after fixing deprecated code, the only
other change I had to make was to switch from using
setPersistenceState to using lifecycle callbacks (a change for the
better). Cayenne's backwards compatibility is a real treat; if only
tapestry could get that right... ;)

I pushed all the artifacts out this morning, including the new maven
artifacts. Everything should be good to go.
I would appreciate someone checking the maven artifacts, including gpg
signature, just to make sure that I fixed my previous screw-up where I
prematurely released the bad artifacts.

The vote for the 3.0 M5 release has passed. The vote actually
occurred on two different sets of artifacts for the same release.
During testing of the first set, a critical issue was discovered. It
was patched, verified as a fix, and new artifacts were created. I'll
plan for a Monday morning release. If Ari or whoever else might be
able to help out with the site changes and announcements, that would
be great. I'll get the artifacts up within the next day or so so
that
they're there before the announcements go out.
