Brian Tubbs commented on CMIS-488:
----------------------------------
Hi Florian, I'm new to openCMIS and was merely wondering if you could point me
to any information, samples, conceptual how-tos on how I might (for example),
using openCMIS, ALSO send (along with an image document - i.e. a photo of
building) associative data elements (an address field with the address of the
building, city and state fields of the building with proper values,
etc.)....for associating and storing...along with the image itself? Much
thanks for your time and help...I haven't found much definitive on the subject,
and being new, want to make sure I follow the best possible thing to try.
> Support creation of unfiled objects via AtomPub

> Components: opencmis-client-bindings, opencmis-server
> Affects Versions: OpenCMIS 0.6.0

> The CMIS 1.0 specification does not define how unfiled objects (documents and
> policies) can be created via AtomPub. Therefore OpenCMIS doesn't support it.
> The CMIS 1.1 draft closes this gap. It is possible to implement the proposed
> solution and still be CMIS 1.0 compliant. OpenCMIS should support this on the
> client and server side.
