Hi

Apache Stanbol is compatible to Java 6 something that would no longer
be possible if Clerezza would require Java 7. I would prefer to stay
with Java 6 unless their is a really important reason (e.g. if someone
would like to use things like ForkJoinPool [1]).

Tommasos comment of having two branches would also solve my issue, but
it would also introduce a lot of overhead for managing both version.

Apple still provides updates to Java 6 they only deactivated Browser
Applets for Java 6. In fact I am still using Java 6 as development
version.

best
Rupert
