This is a bit too complicated (and IMHO the other examples from that database 
model site, even if nice they're not too realistic)
I'm trying several examples now, and will publish soon one that looks 
acceptable in my sandbox.

It looks I was too enthusiastic: H3.5 and JPA2 require Java 6 (and Click just 
switched to Java 5) :(.

Something like the IService interface  would be nice to have in Click, but if i 
recall well, Bob mentioned, that the actual ORM implementations are already to 
complicated and inflexible. 
IMHO we could experiment some solutions - maybe it turns out something 
efficient and useful.
