Done! We have both Cayenne and JPA 2.0 working.
I will repeat my comment done on this issue

"Something the Apache Click project could do is choose a good domain model
(like spring example: pet-store|cayenne artits..., openjpa ...) and use it to
demonstrate the ORM intregation. That not necessarily needs to be on click
examples, but maybe on confluence or wiki showing real webapp examples."
So, now I need this decision to make a real examples with that click orm
