Right now, as documented in the mccsearch readme [0] at "Download data in one
folder (with only the data files)" section, "...THERE IS NO FILE CHECKING. So
please ensure ALL your files are there in netCDF format."
An improvement here would be to do some checking in an attempt to determine
incorrect/unsuitable input.
