As documented within the mccserarch README [0] at section " Download data in
one folder (with only the data files)" is states that "...THERE IS NO FILE
ERROR HANDLING. Please ensure that the MERG data and the TRMM data files are
correlated temporally and spatially".
An improvement here would be to implement rudimentary file error handling for
the input data.
