Sebb commented on CLIMATE-521:
------------------------------

Thanks, the page is now much better - it's easier to read and use.

Might be useful to turn the tarball names - e.g. Apache OCW 0.4 (.tgz) - into
links as well?
Not essential.

bq. I've never before provided links to hashes and sigs for all previous
releases on the main downloads page. I think that this is unnecessary.

If you provide a link to an individual tarball on the download page, it must
have a sig and a hash.
However, there is no need to include links to every archived release tarball.
As you now link to the archive directories, there is no need to provide
sig/hash on the download page itself, as they are present in the archive
directory listing.

> Downloads must use ASF mirror system; also have sigs and hashes

> The download link in [1] currently points directly to the ASF server:
> This is not allowed.
> Downloads MUST use the ASF mirroring system for current releases.
> Also users must be able to check the hashes and sigs for a release.
