Hi Stanley,

You can use "tcpdump -i <interface> icmp" from the instance, or the VR or the
host where the instance is running and the host where the VR is running, or the
network router/switches in your infrastructure to debug and identify the root
cause.

Misconfigured VLANs or bridge/network devices on the hypervisor or CloudStack
zone/network misconfiguration are usual culprits.

Regards.

Subject: Virtual Router giving packet loss

Hello All,

I am experiencing an issue with a virtual router, i am getting packet loss
when I am trying to ping google.com or 8.8.8.8. I am also
experiencing issues with other IPs when I am trying to ping it from the
virtual router.
I am using cloudstack 4.18 with ubuntu 20.04 KVM.

Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Regards

Stanley
