Hello Devs,

During our internal reviews and testing of the CloudStack ONTAP plugin, we
identified a couple of UI enhancements that could improve the overall user
experience. I would like to propose these ideas for community discussion
and gather feedback on whether they would be valuable additions.

1. User-Friendly Capacity Display
CloudStack currently accepts capacity values in bytes, which is accurate
and aligns well with backend calculations. However, from a usability
perspective, it may be helpful to provide a human-readable representation
alongside the input field.
For example, while the underlying value remains in bytes, the UI could
display the equivalent size in MB, GB, or TB to help users validate their
inputs more easily.

2. Highlighting Mandatory Fields in Wizards
Several configuration wizards contain mandatory fields, but these are not
always visually distinguishable from optional fields.
Introducing a consistent UI indicator (such as a CSS-based highlight,
marker, or styling convention) for required fields could improve usability
and reduce user errors during configuration.

These are relatively small enhancements, but they may help improve the
overall user experience and reduce configuration mistakes.

If the community sees value in these suggestions, we would be happy to
discuss them further and potentially contribute towards their
implementation in a future CloudStack release.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Best Regards,
Rajiv Jain
