@wido I misunderstood. I thought was fixing one or more bugs. Given that
it is an enhancement, you are correct that it should only target master. As
soon as we iron the smoke test issues in #1692, we will enqueue this PR for
testing on KVM and get it merged for 4.10.0.0.
