After 10 minutes under heavy load using a Web-Application- Stress-Tool, the Handles increased to 5100. After 1h cooling down the Handles kept below 1000. I tested Java 1.4.2_06, Cocoon 2.1.5.1 and Tomcat 5.0.27. Does anybody know the purpose of the TPCThreadManager-class? Everything seems to work without this Thread.
