Amen: "commit then review" is way faster than the other way around.

Balanced Meritocratic Do-ocracy is our government model and it really works well.

Some of us (myself first) come out rather strong sometimes, due to our frustration but commit then review is the ultimate solution to prevent bikeshedding: who does it, decides.

As long as nobody is 'hurt' when the community decides to roll-back changes, the I would suggest people to start committing more and more, even in the core.
