Lukasz, I'm afraid that the changes which are going to occur, (IIUC) will likely break the backward-compatibility. Won't they, Jochen?. So there are only two chances: * release OGNL as it at the moment. * release an 3.0.2 version, starting from the github codebase and then applying the patch.
IMHO the fork's option is the best candidate, because I think it's not fair that Struts influences the choices we make for OGNL (though it deserves a good attention as the major OGNL's consumer). Another important aspect is that we can obtain a backward-compatible version from fork in a smaller time. WDYT?
