Given the ongoing current and declining state of Twitter (to be more polite than I should be) I vote +1 on simply deleting the entire account. It's no longer a useful means of communicating with Java developers.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Space Karen decides to disable, deactivate, and/or recycle inactive and/or non-paid accounts in the near future. He's been leaning in that direction, is getting desperate for revenue, and has a history of impulsive, irrational decision making. Better to get out now before he does something even more problematic like auctioning off accounts to the highest bidding spammer.
