The buildnumber-maven-plugin is bound to the generate-resources phase
unless the buildNumber.skip property is set, but I couldn't find any use
of the ${buildNumber}, ${scmBranch} nor ${timestamp} properties in the
pom of the main Commons components. I may be missing something, but it
looks like it's unused.
