Hi All

It seems we've had quite a number of ASF members sign up to the local
mentors program, since the email a couple of months back, which is good.
However, we've still a fair few gaps!

What do people think about emails committers@ to ask them if people
would like to sign up? From my perspective, the main question would be
do we have enough guidance on the site for committers, or do we need to
add a bit more to get it from "good enough for members who know most of
it already" up to the level needed?

More documentation is always good. But I think committers know enough to be able to have a social with someone. I'd say go for it.

Also, any thoughts on Simon's email in march about using something like:
urn:org:apache:spepping
rather than the current:
http://people.apache.org/spepping.rdf
? I'm minded to make the change he suggested, if no-one can think of a
reason against it?

I have no opinion since I don't understand this stuff - if Mark does we should listen.
