+1 to have a go, we discussed it in Taverna as well, we could give them something to do in the Android app.
It would be a bit similar to HelpWanted.apache.org I guess, but with mentoring..? It would have to be quite bite-sized for high school students, but you would probably also be surprised as to what some of them can do!
