Quite agree.

But for different reasons - mostly because that page is useless in general.
It does not provide more information than just looking at
https://downloads.apache.org/ - it's basically redundant.
Other pages in `projects.apache.org` are quite useful - because they
aggregate some data - but I can't imagine any use of "releases" tab other
than just browsing downloads.apache.org has.
