Can someone in MS team help me with this JIRA? Summary: Looks like Tom is trying to add a specific plugin to a Cordova project created in VS but for some unknown reason the plugin installation fails. I tried to install it on a Cordova project created using CLI and was able to install such plugin using CLI as well. To me, the problem is on VS side.

Did you execute that command from the project solution's directory (The directory below the .sln file)? That's where the import should work from and it doesn't. The point is it doesn't matter if it's VS or Cordova. The two have now been joined using the integration installer and pre-installed in VS2015 so if MS needs to fix something, someone from Cordova should submit a report to MS about the issue. When I use the Cordova import feature in VS I expect it to work. It doesn't matter to me who fixes it but I don't have a direct line to Microsoft like Apache/Cordova does. was (Author: synthetisoft): Did you create that project with VS? Here's a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/kLxeLC6G and here's the full error that is generated which happens whether you use the remote or local import option and also using the URL of the GIT as suggested on this particular plugin page https://github.com/songz/cordova-plugin-opentok (Exact same thing.. I've also tried using the "Local" option in VS and it doesn't work. You can easily verify this for free by installing VS2015 Preview and trying to import your plugin to a project (Right click config.xml -> Design Mode -> Plugins. > I've tried everything I can think of. This is the best way to dev and test Cordova apps but without importing plugins It's useless in many situations. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332) -- Victor Adrian Sosa Herrera IBM Software Engineer Guadalajara, Jalisco
