Heya, I spent some time trimming down the open issues for 1.0.2 and 1.1.0:

The remaining patches can easily be backported and we can continue feature work on trunk. -- The issues are: 1.0.2: "Compaction does not release file descriptors" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-926 1.1.0: "out of memory crash when compacting document with lots of edit branches" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-888 "refactor os process management" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-901 And 926 again.
