## Description: Apache CouchDB software is a document-oriented database that can be queried and indexed in a MapReduce fashion using JavaScript. CouchDB also offers incremental replication with bi-directional conflict detection and resolution. ## Project Status: Current project status: Ongoing Issues for the board: none ## Membership Data: Apache CouchDB was founded 2008-11-19 (18 years ago) There are currently 74 committers and 18 PMC members in this project. The Committer-to-PMC ratio is roughly 5:2. Community changes, past quarter: - No new PMC members. Last addition was Glynn Bird on 2023-03-14. - No new committers. Last addition was James Coglan on 2026-03-24. ## Project Activity: We released bugfix version 3.5.2 in May and are continuing to prepare a new feature release 3.6.0 in the near future. ## Community Health: The project operates at the usual velocity for the time of year. We are aiming to organise an in-person meet-up during CoC in Glasgow. Best Jan —
