Thanks for writing the report. I have signed off.
Well done getting the code into git and the web site up. I feel that
the project is really up and running now. Next goal: a release!
Thanks! And, yes!
I checked the status page[1] and it looks up-to-date. Two last "red
tape" things we need to accomplish: a CCLA for the code, and a name
search. Not urgent, but it would be nice to get them out of the way
soon.
This CCLA - is that unrelated to the ICLA's and the CLA from
IBM, which we already have in place? Do we currently need more?
What is definitively missing are the CLA's from our laggards...
Regarding the name search - We did it already internally a whole
while ago. Could one please help us getting up to speed with the
needed Apache procedure?
Lastly, did you guys see the announcement of Apache EU Roadshow[2] and
ApacheCon North America[3]? It's always great if a podling can send
one or two representatives, and other Apache projects may become your
early adopters.
Definitely! We shall go for Montreal in September, and probably prepare
something for the June event in Berlin as well. Any help on getting
things acceptable and accepted would be highly appreciated!
Btw. We forgot to add to the Report our rejected attempt to have a pitch
at the Berlin DataWorks Summit in April. Maybe we shall add that to
the next report, since the current is closing.
Thank you!
Bernard.
