Thanks, Pei. I haven't tried the first approach, but as a word of warning, I would not recommend the alternative. First it got mad at me because there were conflicts I was supposed to go fix before it could complete the switch. Then when I tried to do that it got mad at me because there are unfinished svn transactions.
I just binged Apache providing limited git support for their codebases (http://www.apache.org/dev/git.html). Do any cTAKES developers have experience with this?
