Hello Chris - This is impressive. Thanks. One scenario and a question - I am developing a tool that can do retrospective records review for adverse events in coded medical records. There are also statistical analysis reports it can produce in R for the observed adverse events/ triggers. Can I use Shangridocs to combine the statistical data produced by R in my scenario with biomedical research publications; e.g: is it possible for a hospital staff (say a trigger reviewer) or a Chief Medical Officer to ask a question in Shangridocs like - "What is the root cause trend for adverse events associated with the use of Warfarin in hospitalized patients"?. Because in my hospital records I see a number of cases where Vitamin K was used to bring down the INR value to <3. So I will like to know the trend across the globe regarding the root cause for INR>3.
Thanks, Sekhar H. ________________________________________ From: Mattmann, Chris A (3980) [[email protected]] Sent: 24 September 2015 23:31 To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [cancer-informatics] Fwd: BD2K Coordination Center Solicits Hackathon Proposals Hey Andy, Sure, the clinical use case is to combine public and private data. So take a company’s private clinical data, and research, and then map it e.g.,to public research publications and connect the two. So the tool I’m talking about is Shangridocs: http://github.com/chrismattmann/shangridocs/ Would love to chat if people are interested in doing some funding proposal related to this. I see a big need for it across multiple domains.
