Hi Andriy, Colm, The MicroProfile Rest Client 2.0 GA release is currently in staging. We are working through a new process now that MP is formally an Eclipse Working Group. Part of that process is a two-week staging period where steering committee members review and (hopefully) approve the staged specification projects. For Rest Client, we're about one week into that process. Given that many folks will be out next week due to the holidays, I don't expect that Rest Client 2.0 will be officially released until early January. Once it is officially released, I plan to update the parent/pom.xml file to point to the released API instead of the RC. The API is effectively the same as the RC - iirc, the only changes between the last RC and the final (staged) release were changes to test cases in the TCK.
If you want to release before the end of the year, I would not suggest waiting for MP Rest Client 2.0 GA. We can get it into the 3.4.3. Hope this helps, Andy On Fri, Dec 18, 2020 at 12:25 PM Andriy Redko <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey Colm, > > +1 in general, a few comments. > > The code for CXF-8340 is in, all builds are green, the only leftovers are > to finalize the documentation and probably samples for JAX-RS / JAX-WS, I > am on track to finish that over the weekend.
