 Review comment:
   I think the reason this test passes on unparse, is because the specific 
date/time chosen to represent in 64 bits here has no bits in the upper 32 bits 
of the 64 bit word. 
   
   If you parse 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000001 00000000 00000000 00000000 
00000001
   So that there is a 1 bit in the upper 32 bits of the 64, then I think that 
will make it fail because the unparse code is using Int, not Long.
