Eyal Allweil commented on DATAFU-184:
-------------------------------------

Updating here as well - the Technology at PayPal blog has
[moved|https://medium.com/paypal-tech/we-have-moved-to-https-developer-paypal-com-community-blog-2acf7cb138a6],
which delayed the co-publishing - it's now the [PayPal Developer
Blog|https://developer.paypal.com/community/blog/]. I will check if we can
co-publish there.

> It would be nice to create a blog post detailing use and performance
> advantage of the new _collectNumberOrderedElements_ method added in DataFu
> 2.1.0.
>
> A complete blog post can be written and submitted as a PR, or a draft. An
> example of using this method can be found in [our
> tests|https://github.com/apache/datafu/blob/main/datafu-spark/src/test/scala/datafu/spark/TestSparkUDAFs.scala#L149].
> This task is mainly to find or create data and show the difference in
> runtimes/amount of resources necessary when using the method and vanilla
> Spark.
