GGrrrr... dBase has other problems. The one that bothers me most is that text lengh is limited to 254 characters. Suppose that instead of recipes I want a database of essays. Or perhaps math papers (typically 20 pages). Suppose I wanted to do that. Have a searchable collection of essays. What would be the best way to get that done? Given that Java is not an option.
