That would also be nice to shed some light on that "mystery" for the
Audience of ApacheCon in Budapest (not sure, Bertrand if you'd be able to
make it on the last day?;-)

I looked at who uses JSON before and especially DeviceAtlas does something
vaguely familiar. There everything is in a single file, but device and
other entries are mapped to others via hashed patterns. Most of them look
like UUIDs.
Compared to that, those in the 2.0 data folders are more readable, but
still enough to explain in documentation or at conferences, so people
understand it.
