Right now, I'm sure that Alex will give us some clue about how to embed
ApacheDS in another application, including the way the logging system
should be used, as he will have a session at San Diego ApacheCon US 2005

Oh boy you're putting me on the spot now :).
Ok I have to reread this thread a few more times. There must be an easy
simple option out there between all the opinions expressed. We just
have to weigh all the options.
