I just switched from UTF-8 encoded chars to escaped unicode sequences, as suggested in your code. I just went a little bit further by grabing all the japanese unicode values on internet, so that the Sample4 is now not anymore using \ufffd sequences. It took some time, but worth it.

Did you have to tweak the escape sequences I provided or what was the
