Przemyslaw Rudzki commented on DIRSTUDIO-65:
--------------------------------------------

After playing with it a bit more I can see that this functionality is a mixture
of selecting workspace (history) for Eclipse and field assist. I admit that
after one gets to know it it does the job really good. However, maybe having an
additional dialog would make it more intuitive? I was rather expecting a list
of available attributes to choose from - not an empty list. Maybe having a
dialog similar to the page allowing to select object classes in the new entry
wizard that shows up after selecting [...] button? Maybe add another page to
the wizard? I understand that you probably want to keep number of open dialogs
and pages at the minimum so maybe it would be possible to put short (3-4 rows)
list viewers on the dialog would do the trick. Anyway, just a minor suggestion.

BTW. Me guilty ;-) of not reading the docs which explain the whole thing
clearly.

> In the Data Export wizard it is only possible to choose returning attributes
> after at least one letter has been entered. The drop down remains empty if no
> letter has been typed in. I know that field assist in RCP needs a lot of
> improvement but maybe there is a way to fix it.
