Yes, good idea. If you have such a requirement, what about implementing and
contributing it?
I think there is also a workaround: You could create a proper connections.xml in
~/.ApacheDirectoryStudio/.metadata/.plugins/org.apache.directory.studio.connection.core/
with the default connection.
