A quick update...
I have fixed the existing pages, to be able to save the data to the OpenLDAP server. It now works. I have pushed the very first version on people.apache.org/~elecharny the options page is not completed yet, but the overlay, tuning, and security are ok. feel free to test them and to report any bug you could find !
