Hi Steve, I’m -0. Mild objection. Most of the projects I know of use JIRA. The problem with GitHub, as I see it, is that it could go away and then what of the issues? Keep in mind we’re holding GitHub at arms length. Yes the ASF git repos are mirrored there today, but that doesn’t necessarily hold for tomorrow. Granted many people are big fans of JIRA. But it works OK and that’s where one would expect to find the projects issues. —Shawn
