@hboutemy If you have a minute, I'll love your thoughts on this. I'm starting to go down the path of making sure the sources zip can produce the same binaries as produced from the tag (I realized I haven't tested that yet). I remember chatting with you about something similar. I think your advice was to remove this type of configuration from builds. Am I remember this correctly? And are there any alternatives that would associate the sources zip with the git sha that was used to create it? (Is that the goal of the [.buildspec](https://github.com/jvm-repo-rebuild/reproducible-central/blob/master/doc/BUILDSPEC.md))? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
