Hi *, I have two questions relating to the Bittorrent-distribution project.
http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/bittorrent/download.html writes "The OpenOffice.org torrents are also mirrored at http://www.open-bits.org/ a tracker for open source software." I'm nor sure what that means. Are onloy the .torrent files available for download from open-bits.org or is open-bits.org a tracker for the OOo torrents? If it is a tracker do they use the same peers or are there two seperate swarms? (not sure whether one swarm with two trackers is possible at all) ############## Second question: Are there permanent seeds for the torrents? Or is seeding subject to fluctuation? Or put it more direct: Can I be sure to finish the download once I start it? When the seeds are permament: Who is hosting them (all seeds on one single host?) Is there room for more torrents (or is the bandwidth usage already at its limit)? ciao Christian -- NP: Metallica - Turn The Page --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
