Hi,I'd like to use the bouncer. What would the timeframe be to have the builds available from the links there?when using the -extended mirror set, AFAIR no bouncer is possible, as the bouncer is only able to deal with HTTP URLs, but most - extended mirrors are reachable via FTP only.
Me starts to cry. Bouncer needs ftp support asap. There has been a ftp test on the bouncer. I don't know how well that worked.
A lot of people have problems with downloading through ftp. Most commonly through many people having the ftp port blocked.
*Rant over* (I've had a bit of a bad experience with ftp in the past) All of the http mirrors (except GWDG ftp-1) in the extended list on http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/ are already on the bouncer. Infinitaus doesn't actually have anything on the mirror.1 link per language is the simplest (which is why I like the bouncer). Using javascript to write the links would be a possibility. They would be randomly produced for any server.
So you are better off preparing a list of downloads. On http:// www.prooo-box.org/download/index.php we did it via a PHP script that prints out the names randomized. I can send you the script if needed.
That script is no use as the collab framework doesn't support php.
Alternatively, you can do it with a Java Script as we do on http:// de.openoffice.org/downloads/quick.html
When did you get Mac OS X 10.3 on Intel? Also 10.3 is no longer supported from 2.2. 2.2 doesn't even launch on Mac OS X 10.3. 2.2.1 will probably run on 10.3, but will not be supported by us.
