-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just checked the piece size used on the 2.2.1 torrents.
Having a piece size of 1MB for torrents of files this small is a major concern. Not only is it inconsistent with previous releases, it is also not a recommended piece size for files that small. Speed ramp-ups for new peers are extended beyond what they should be (considering a normal piece size for a file the size of the OOo installer is 128-256k). I don't know what caused this, but 1MB piece sizes aren't recommended for 100MB files. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQEVAwUBRn2JWF8nceBm0DUaAQJC+gf/bmh/fwuAqx/ky2afOosiqzc8vK5D2OQh /WwFajIu8YoRadYUDtaQPGFkgx9a3q7E8TfFgHtrX02L5oNcijbzuH1WUnOp3pRv NckLOp9/RuE+SSDO4IaT5IRCMnDu9urSYVenF32HaT5+miZcwTmbN7v7vT0+LdJ8 rVLNeJlABPAZlXsHiqFqywaBUbEZcxPhDHG5W1bu2mwXJeP1Z1cJBxhHiVShyG54 CIToZ3RLe+95QFYNu8OVtNpK0zW2tIR4WL9NNbEoL7GC/Ew9y9eGyeFNhZRk0Z7U 8v7wRrTu6mIRRb//8PjLzubLQGvyS64pF6zzm58BIBY+FWXCAJ+p5Q== =ZzkJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
