There is an ongoing issue within the Incubator regarding communication with
projects whose contributors are primarily mainland Chinese. These folks tend to
not have a lot of education in or background in English, so Incubator comms as
well as Infra comms tend to be quite difficult, and there are a lot of
misunderstandings. As part of a diversity initiative, it would be great if the
Foundation could retain or provide the services of on-demand translators to
assist in discussions with projects interested in the ASF methodology (“The
Apache Way”.)
